Rendering: Our company recycles meat and poultry co-products from abattoirs, retail butcher shops and meat processors, into high-grade protein meals and tallows.

The majority of these products are used in Australia but a significant quantity is exported.

Our plants use a combination of high-efficiency electric motors running cookers, presses, low temperature mechanical de-waterers and dryers to produce our products. Waste heat evaporators recover proteins from process water streams. Tallow is clarified in high-speed centrifuges. We treat and dispose of our own process water by irrigating farm land.

We emphasise quality products, energy efficiency and a safe environment.

Tallow is used for a multitude of both edible and inedible products, soap being one of the most common.

Protein meals provide protein and amino acids in stock food diets and can also be used as organic fertilisers.

Qld Plant - Built in 1996, our Qld plant at Beaudesert is one of Australia's major service rendering plants processing both red meat and poultry by-products. We operate under the National Safety Council of Australia 5 Star Safety System.

NSW Plant - Our NSW plant at Riverstone is an SEDA Energy Smart Business Partner. Natural gas conversion of previously coal fired boilers was completed in September 1999 resulting in a cleaner alternative saving over 20,000 tonnes per annum of CO2 equivalent.
